Save the song/jingle writing and the freelance sound design that I am already trying to do, what else can I do to make some dough using the equipment I have? (16 track modular digital, 32 track hard disk, etc.)

I have been contemplating this for awhile and I know others have posted similar questions, but I have some specific questions in mind.
First off, I don’t really want to record other bands and artists. That is very time consuming – I have done some projects for free for friends and I wouldn’t want to do that on a for-hire basis.
This should go without saying, but I built this studio to do what I love, not what the garage band down the street loves to do… Maybe that is the wrong attitude to have, but that’s the way I feel. The other problem I would encounter with bands is that I have limited space – no room at all for a drummer.

So my thoughts have turned to things I can do via the internet or through the mail. Here are some ideas, please comment or set me straight if need be. And any different ideas you may have would be great, too.

1. Short run CD-R/cassette dupes. I know that most people have this capability now, but there have to be some people out there who still need this service, right?

2. Building music websites for artists/bands with some of the free hosting services such as Mp3.com or IUMA. Again, it seems that most people can do this now, but there must be a few who can’t. Also, any legal problems here to worry about? (charging money to help do something that is free?)

3. Simple graphic design and/or simple packaging for 1 & 2 above. I am not a card carrying graphic designer, but I am about to finish my first “real” website and am half-pleased with the results so far.

4. Thought about doing voiceover demos for people, but it got complicated fast. Licensing a music library for use. Again, I could do the background music myself, but then we are talking about time. I don't want to put a lot of effort into writing/recording music if it’s going to be for somebody else's voiceover demo.

Anybody got any ideas/comments?

Keep in mind, this would just be something to make a little extra money on the side using what I have. I know I eliminate a lot of potential by saying “I won’t record other people” but I have to say that. And it is not entirely true – I do record other people, but I know them and it is an ongoing thing. For instance, I am helping a buddy of mine record his album. We do bits and pieces here and there – he is okay with that because it’s free and I am okay with it because it doesn’t take up too much of my time.

Thanks,
Brad

A lot of people seem to be asking about getting their old tapes/records/etc on cd...You could probably get some decent business doing that, and it wouldn't be too hard either.

Also, in regard to the mp3.com/iuma question, I don't see any problem with it. You'd be charging for your help setting up and/or designing the page, not for the hosting service that they're providing for free. But, i'm no lawyer, so take that advice for what it's worth :)
