how are the KRK RP5 monitors powered?

probably a dumb question, but i intend to purchase these monitors and it says they are powered. do they come with like power cables or do they need phantom power or what?

Yeah, they're active monitors. They come with cables...you just plug them into an outlet.
 
ELECTRICITY!

hehe - they have the same power cords as a PC has one for each speaker :D
 
ah brilliant thanks guys! can you like link them together or is it 1 power cable each going into 2 outlets
 
Each has its own power cable. Each goes into its own outlet.
 
They are powered by itty bitty little amplifiers that are kept an eye on and maintained day in and day out in 4 hour shifts by a whole community of itty bitty little elfs that live within each speaker.
