Jeez,

I posted a song in this thread.

Nobody listed to it or said anything.

:D
Huhhhhh?....I was trying to listen, in the order they came...but I am going to get off, on pointing out to you, that your own comment(s) about anyone's covers here, most certainly rolled them ALL into ONE comment...rather than separately showing your appreciation of them ...or naming names and song titles....right?

Great thread, Rami!!!!!!!!!

There are some awesome cover tunes being posted. :)

My second oldest daughter chose Don Henley’s version of Come Rain Or Come Shine for the father/daughter dance at her wedding in 1996. In 1997, I recorded my own version and gave it to her and my son-in-law a CD as gift for their first wedding anniversary. They’re still married. My guess is….they never listened to the CD. :D:D

Come Rain Or Come Shine

This was recorded to a Tascam 424 mk III. I left the tape hiss and bass distortion on it for cjacek. ;)

Great sounding vocals on this Randy!!....now get that paintbrush out and start painting that kettle purple!!!:p:D:D:D

Hello all, on 08/20/07!!!

I worked very hard on a remix (08/19/07) of my latest effort of 08/16/07,...
to minimize hiss and a tiny bit of clipping that was bugging me, while maintaining overall dynamic range.

Not only do I want to showcase the Tascam 488mkII (a very worthy machine) in it's best light, but (despite all the sub-par stuff I've ever posted), I'm really very picky & perfectionistic about my true "studio productions", (& less so about my one-offs ans outright jam tapes),...

so please take a listen!

Thanx!

Ps:...

my stuff should be right in the pocket when it's turned up to 10!
;)

Gee, that's funny. I know how you feel.....That's exactly what happened to the guitar solo I did for you and Llarion about a month ago. Nobody has even taken the time to tell me it's too shit to put out. :D:

I don't seem to be able to locate it. Did you post it or did Llarion post it? BTW, I haven't seen much of Phil, lately.

Well, you know I'm the shy and quiet type.

I sent Phil the files about a month ago....That's the last I heard of anything. I enjoyed doing the solo, it was my first for someone else.

Phil would normally alert me with a PM when he was about to post a new mix. I was totally unaware that you had sent him a track.

Sorry, I'm at a loss for an explanation.

Maybe he just got tired of listening to me sing! :D

I would!!!!!

Hehe....no problem. He might just be busy. Haven't seen him around lately.:)

very nice indeed....great guitar sounds man, whats your chain if you dont mind me asking?

Thanks ... let me see if I can remember as these were recorded at different times. As far a converters go, Meatplow & Long Way Down were done with my current setup which is an Echo Layla 3G. Devil was done about 6 years ago when I used an Echo Gina 24.

Software has pretty much Sonar and Waves plugs

Vocals:

Meatplow/Longway Down: Groove Tubes GT66 > True P-Solo > Layla 3G
Devil: Rode NT2 > Mackie VLZ > Gina24

Guitars:

Meatplow: Solid State Marshall > GT66 > JoeMeek TwinQ (iron on) > Layla3G
Longway: Mesa Rect-o-verb > Beyer M260/SM57 > TwinQ (iron on) > Layla3G
Devil: even crappier solid state Marshall > SM57 > Mackie VLZ

Bass:

Meatplow: MusicMan > TwinQ > Ampeg SVX > Waves RComp
Longway: MusicMan > True P-Solo > Ampeg SVX > Waves RComp
Devil: MusicMan > Mackie VLZ I think

Drums: EZ Drummer except for Devil which was a Roland V-Club set

think thats it, now that I've bored you to death ... :D

haha, thanks! no not bored and appreciate you sharing that..

again great job!
