I know Dragon doesn´t do it often, but maybe we can make a thread with roundtrip latency of many soundcards and use it as a reference for comparison or before buying...

To test your soundcard latency you can use this free utility...

I can provide roundtrip latency of my FirePod if this thread awakes some interest... :)

Working on it, but like all my other projects, its always half done :)

round trip latency is avoided like the plague by marketing teams, because it is an actual, quantifiable, easily measurable spec that has a GIANT effect on the feel of a session. Also, drivers with the lowest round trip latency tend to also be those drivers with the least bugs and lowest CPU use

Round trip latency is the time from which a signal hits your soundcard input to the time it hits the soundcard's output

LOTS of manufacturers claim certain latency specs or "gee look at our tiny buffer sizes" these mean JACK in terms of how long you are going to wait to hear your signal. Round trip latency is what you need to compare

I'm down for it. I can test the delta1010
I think we should all use the same prog(the one that JFern Provided) for it to be relevant.

If that prog is easy I will post result in a day or two.
