Hi everyone, I just joined the forum. Just wondering if anyone can help me with the horrible interference I'm getting using the Alesis Guitarlink USB cable and Guitar Rig in Logic 8. The sound I get is a fast and regular beeping/ticking noise. I have uploaded a sample (youtube v=-Rv1fmFC6aY). I have tried:
1) using a noise gate, but as soon as the input goes above the threshold the beeping can be heard.
2) moving around the house because I thought it could be radio interference, but that didn't help.
3) turning my wifi off.
4) unplugging my guitar, but it is not the pick ups.
The interference is less noticeable using amps with no gain, but that's not much fun. I can't think what else to try. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
