ok im writting this because for the life of me before i got my BCF2000's there was nowhere on the net (and still isn't) anything that told me how to hook up 2-3 of them together so here is a conversation i had with a member from over at gearslutz.com about how he hooked up his 2 BCF2000's. Simple to the point and for pro tools LE 8 so for ya'll and everyone else that needed a helping hand on the net with this here ya go:

Hey dude. I run PT 7.3 something on Windows, I imagine the same stuff would apply to PT 8 on Windows - if you're on Mac, well, all bets are off.

The BCF comes with everything you need. Just download the newest drivers off the website when you get them. You connect the buggers over USB (but the computer sees them as a software MIDI port). The instruction manual tells you how to put the BCF2000 in HUI emulation mode - which is what you want. Then you load up Pro Tools, Setup -> Peripherals -> Control Surfaces tab or whatever it's called. Select HUI from the dropdown, pick the first BCF for the in and out ports, make sure 8 channels is selected, then repeat for the 2nd HUI. Hit okay and load up a session - you should be working now. The control surfaces might be reversed, but you can just swap the IO selection in the setup if you need to.
You can't modify the programmable buttons this way, but you do get bank scrolling, play, stop, scrolling forward and back, mute, pan, and record enable. I don't think you can do anything much else, like plugin control or anything.

there ya go ya'll ;) everything else should be on the net over at the DUC website

last useful bit of info for everyone looking

from "benunh" on the DUC

Just wanted to let you all know that I just got another 2 BCFs and they are up and running fine.
After minimal hair pulling, I got all three to be recognized by PT and working correctly (all plugged into different USB ports).
The only sticking point I had (for those looking to try it) was that you have to give each BCF a unique identifier so PT can recognize all three.
To do this, get out of any emulation mode you might be in by powering down and starting it back up while pressing the top button on track 1.
Then press EDIT (hold) and press STORE to get to the Global Menu.
The ID knob is on track 4 (I think) and you should give each BCF a different ID number (I found that PT liked it better when I didn't use #1. I used 2, 3, and 8).
Then press EXIT and go back into BHUI mode.
Now you're good to start PT and indicate your peripherals.

Rock on!
