Hi everyone,
I am very new to this. Actually I don't even have my equipment yet but I am working on getting a used Alesis Adat (classic w/ low hours). I guess what I would like to pick you brains about is how have you all set up your home studios? What is the best way to get good sound/acoustics etc? Have you all made seperate contol rooms (ideal) and if so how did you keep the cost down? We will be setting the studio up in a 25 X 40 foot cinder block room w/ 15 foot ceilings. Also, any advice on what other equipment I will need (we already have a 24 channel Mackie board w/4 subs).

but not for long, we plan to be moving in about 3 months, then I'll have a separate room just for my recording.
