Home Studio 2004 Mp3 Converter

I just made a quick Mp3 using Home Studio 2004 & it said that the Cakewalk Converter expires in 30 Days & I will need an "unlock" code.

Any Home Studio users run into this?

Is this a simple matter of registering? I've been lazy & haven't registered as of yet.

I believe the .mp3 converter supplied with HS2004 is probably a trial version. You would need to purchase it in order to continue using it.

Suggest you go get a free converter off the internet. There are several available.

As stated the MP3 ecoder is indeed a trial version only..... I think it is about 25 bucks on the cakewalk website..... I had downloaded a free MP3 encoder from the web, Lame Razor I think, I'll double check...... It works fine.
