I see deaf people
just got a macbook pro, my first mac, and logic 9

Its only been a couple of hours and logics already up running and recording...some nice instruments etc with it :)

but boy i cannot get my head around the mac lol

I have a few AU plugs from mags but they are just meant to be dropped into a folder...so there is no program file in Mac Ive noticed...do I make a new folder in the Audio folder? because I cant find a folder with Logics own AU plugs and the Audio folder only has a folder for VST's

ive stuck them in a few places but they dont show up :o

sorry for being dense but if this helps my headaches Ill award a thousand space credits for the 2012 flight off this rock :D

Well at least you got a lot of helpful and insightful responses! :laughings:

its a hive of activity...ive shelved logic for the time being....gonna wait till im on vacation somewhere and play with it more :D

the thing about macs are they are way simpler than a lot of people think, all the plugs are in (just for everyone elses' reference):

Harddrive/Library/Audio/Plug-ins

Apple loops are stored in USERS/library/Audio/Apple Loops
