Sounds unstable but what do I know?

How do they get the gold to adhere to the Mylar?
Sounds as stable toward vibrational energy as a
PB & J sandwich.

I mean gold-layered mylar is pretty damn typical now-days in virtually every microphone manufacturing factory these days. And if you're talking about diaphragm thichness, I have just the man to talk about that.

If you're interested, there is some VERY heavy topics on the Neumann Pinboard dating. Look back from 8/1/00 up to now and you'll find 3 of the worlds top engineers and others discussing diaphragms. It gets hot around those topics but VERY informative.
