In the songwriting forum, we call that "editing." You know, I was just trying to weed out the extraneous material and get to the core of your message. ;)
Got it posted ahead of me! ;)

Oh, well. You win some you lose some, you go home and cry into your pillow and down a bottle of Jack Daniels...

Not really... you down two... :D

Country song matterial?

She was twenty-four years old,
lookin' out for a little man
whom she had when she was seventeen,
and said I wouldn't understand
why she still loved the father
though he didn't know her name.
I said my momma gave me good advice,
so now I'll do the same.

I said "You win some and you lose some,
and then you go home and cry
into your pillow or a bottle
and it makes you wanna die,
but then you get yourself together
and you're stronger in the end,
'cause you may have lost a lover,
but now you've gained a friend."

Cheers.

Worst thing... I have the melody and changes in my head, and now I can't get this awful country song out!

Danger.... MP3. The right version:

Also, apparently iTunes can't handle 96kHz AIFFs. I tried to convert one to MP3 and/or AIFF, and...

With apologies for the quality of the piano. I screwed up and forgot to plug back in the left side of my VP88 and ended up recording one side with a PG58 a few inches from my right knee instead. :D

So I swapped the channels, screwed with the EQ a bit, got it tolerable because I'm too far asleep to redo it, and I don't care enough anyway.
