Hip-hop Vocals - Under $200 - Help!!!

Hey!

I have been doing research...I have a samson c01u I have been using for bout a year but i just got rokit 5's, and i wana switch to a phantom power firewire multimix and get a real condensor mic to use with it.

I have been doing research and have a list of mics i am strongly considering, but I wanted to see if the answers I got on here matched anything on my list.

I want to try to keep my budget for the mic at $200 or less

I will STRICTLY be recording HIP HOP vocals on it. No singing, no instruments. Just RAPPERS.

Given the application and the budget, whats my best bet???

Thanks for the suggestion! I was also reading about the mxl2003.....would you still suggest the 67G or would you go with the 2003 if you had to pick one???

Studio Projects C1 on ebay goes for ~$150. Thats probably your best bet...

While I personally dig the C1 (older version with no pads or RO's) I don't think it is good for this purpose
