Hello,
In recording vocals is using the balanced Low-Z that crucial?
I don't care too much for the reverb on my digital recorder. So
I'm using my RRV-10 from Boss. But I have to hook it up Hi-Z.
Should I eat it on the effects to use the Low-Z.

Thank You Epi

You will have less noise with low Z.If you do use the high Z use a good transformer and use the shortest cord possible.

Also you might consider recording dry to disc using the low Z and then connecting your reverb unit as an auxillary send/return on your mixer or mixer section of your recorder. That way you can change reverbs and either go pre fader or post fader and blend the reverb with the dry signal.
