I don't remember you ever talking about what software(s) you use with your C-Port.

Also, what outs are you using for monitors on the breakout box? 9 & 10?
 
I've been on holiday for a week so that's why I haven't answered yet.

What's oxonfreed?

I use n-Track on W2k. I use out 1&2 for monitoring. Are there out 9&10? I think they're missing on my box:rolleyes:
 
Mine is coming from Musician's Friend (they honored the price from CD software in Renton). I thought it had ten outs on the back?

Did you ever try the bundled Logic Soundtrack24?

When you have some spare time, can you list some of the settings you use; bit depth, resolution, etc.?


I thought the "we give up" chant in hide & seek was "oli, oli, oxonfreed!" :D

Not in Swedish:D and around here, it's 'oxygen-free'.:rolleyes:

I bought my c-port before it came bundeled with Logic and I haven't tried it.

The breakout box has 10 output connectors on the back but the XLR are coupled with TS output 1&2. Just like the inputs.

I use 24/96 but my computer hate me for it. My HDD isn't fast enough and I have far too much crap on my W2k installation. Time for a new drive and a reinstall. (Actually time for a new computer.) I only do very small projects though. A couple of tracks and very little effects.

I just downloaded the WDM drivers and I'll see if that can bring down the latency even further.
