Not to beat on the point as Chater has already stated why HR can't/won't do it...but I bet if the contest had some tangible "prize"...you would get much bigger turnouts, and possibly lots of new people flocking to take part...but also a lot of new, fly-by members just looking to be in the contest and nothing more (though our post minimum keeps them out).

However...you would need a more definitive way of keeping the voting honest. It can be done, but would require more involved web scripting than the BBS "poll" system.

Might get more entries but doubt it would get people to vote...
