Carlton are still in though. Semi final tomorrow night...
 
Well let's be honest...there isn't a single song in that dozen that sounds like anything "modern/current".
From my perspective, that's a good thing, but maybe others would prefer listening to stuff similar to what is on the radi:yawn:....?
I'm sure we've all seen the style of YT videos people are putting up lately asking how they can sound like "that".
I think that's an indicator of what people are listening to these days. ;)

I don't think any of us particularly care what people want to hear... I just like hearing actual music played by musicians... particularly when it's a really good song, as lots of them are...

I think Chater's right and always have thought that 12 is too big a listening task for popular support. 6 is better, but then we have the "how do you end up with a short list" task - something I'm sure no-one wants to have to do, seeing how spectacularly popular the concept was first time around.

Oh well...
 
12 is probably too many. Maybe 6 max. But it's like these people just care about themselves or something :eek:
