This thread is getting like a soccer match.Lots of going back and forth, but not much scoring.

Is it possible for me to get a copy of this song?

That sounds a lot more like my pre married dating life :D

Really, they are... ;)

Porter - I checked out moskus' server and see you have uploaded all the tracks. Cool. Good work.

One issue, though. ALL of the guitar tracks so far are from the BluesMeister. You seemed to have credited one to me. Although in the past I have frequently taken credit for things I didn't do, I am turning over a new leaf. Therefore I renamed the file. (Didn't want to confuse anyone.)

For those playing along at home, Bluesman actually has submitted 4 guitar tracks. However, to confuse things, the 4 guitars are on 3 tracks (2 are combined together on one track). One of his mp3 files has a separate guitar on the left track and another on the right. The other (although also stereo) has both guitars on both tracks. You might want to consider splitting the first file into two mono tracks, and converting the second file to mono. That will give you 3 mono tracks which you can pan as you wish.

BTW, are we planning on keeping my elec. piano track in the mix? If so, I can post that as a separate file as well - either midi or converted to audio, whatever you all prefer.

I have to go lie down now.

BTW, howcum there are three files of James' drum tracks??
I wondered about that too.... Ask james. I just saw that one was uploaded after I uploaded files to the server...

Porter, check your PM too. :)

???? Major and minor scales are the same patterns just shifted on the guitar position. when using the pentatonic just shift it down three (3) frets. for instance the pent minor A is also the major for C because A is the relative minor for C ;) Eminor pentatonic is exactly the same as G Major ;)

There are exceptions cause
This does not work with the harmonic minor scale .

I listened to what is posted and it seems that you already have a good and fitting guitar track posted. So unless I get bored, which is not likely to happen lately, I probably pass on doing, YET Another, a guitar track. I was thinking that you needed one but you probably already have more than you need and they are probably better than I can do anyway. Ill monitor and post one if I just can't resist the spotlight :D

Peace
Bill

Exactly! ;)

The pentatonic scale rules! :D

Pentatonic scales are for losers.

:D

You're playing an axe, right?

Everybody knows that pentatonic scales are the best... :p

I'm having some serious trouble with some Microsoft servers at work....all Unix servers work perfectly.....coincidence? I think not LOL

Anyway, hence the avatar. It's how I feel at the moment. :)

Yep, I'm an axe man. But also a jazzlover....hehe.

Ahhh... there it is. But you know, blues is just better than jazz.

I've never understood this socalled "free-jazz". It really sounds like 4 people just playing random notes to a drummer that has no rythm at all. :D

And by the way... would you turn off Invisibility Mode?

Pleeeeaaaase?¨

:)

We still need a solo guitar for after the bridge. Check out the original, sax solo followed by guitar solo. Both are still missing. :(

Almost... Jaymz still needs to upload an mp3 of his drum track.. for those of us who don't have the Sound Font he used, it doesn't sound as good :D

Good to hear about the new leaf turn over ;). I wasn't too sure who recorded it (sorry Blues, the file sort of appeard out of no where and I thought it was dacahy's... can I make it up to you with a Jam in the last week of February next year :D )

I'll have a crack at that, I can't remember if you can save a mono mp3 track.. might have to be a stereo with the same signal :D

I'm happy with it... if we weren't to use it, it would be because Clemie would have submitted her file... Jaymz can you please follow up with her, thanks.

No offence taken by me! You can credit my guitar playing to Elton John if you prefer. :) I suppose that's the only way we're going to get some keys on this project... ;)

So are you coming over to Perth or am I going over to Sydney? Have I missed something??? :D

PM me with the details.
