Flipping Heck...
Woah,
A lot of ground to cover here...

Yes E7+9 is absolutely correct for naming the
Hendrix Chord - I think the term 'add' would only be used if the 7th wasn't flattened:
E add9 = E G# B F#
Cold Boot Issue: I think I may have had one the other night. I switched on and... nothing. Just the monitor with a message
No Sync Signal. I hit the reset button and it fired up fine. It's an irritation, but hardly worth tearing my hair out!
Did you upgrade your PS to 400W?

I play the
Hendrix Minor by barring with my index finger. I use my middle finger to hold down the 88 and my pinky to hold down the 99.
My
little finger is aptly named. It's also alarmingly bent as a result of a chilhood indiscretion.

In addition I have fairly deep webs on my fingers, so my span is very limited. I can swim well though.
Another of my over-used chords is a 6/9 (oo err):
xx223

It's another slidable chord, the bold note is the root. Like many other chords, it could have several names: Bill or George, or any damn thing but Sue...
I'm not really familiar with the tune
Best Part Of Me so I'll D/L the MIDI and lend an ear.
My MIDI file of
Reminiscing is my best attempt at transposing the song from the original recording, but if you have a better MIDI file of it I'll have a listen.
Porter
Sorry mate, that's not the sort of news you want to hear. I think we all dread the midnight phonecall.
