I begin early (at 6:00 am)...

It's around 8:30 right now, btw...can't call it two and a half hours of work though....chatting it up with main man Bluesmeister...

Thanks for the offer. But the file is about twice that size.

I'll figure out something. I think one of our singers has an AOL account. If I recall, they give you 10mb of space for hosting your own web page. Since he doesn't have a web page, it should all be available. I don't think I can figure out how to make it stream, but it should OK for downloading.

I don't remember if AOL allowed you to host files over 1MB. I could be wrong, they indeed give you 10MB total, but the file cannot exceed 1 MB. File type is also an issue. I dunno, it's been long time I use their service.

Pedullist, I lay the violin parts this morning, and what a damn hard song you wrote on "D" !!! I have no problem with lower octave D, but in second verses when I tend to play higher D, it's so hard to stay in tune... May be I better be a DJ or something :D Gotta love this song, Ped... Love it so much !!!! I can't sit down cool in my chair right now, waiting for the end of the looongg boring working monday to get home and work on it again. Thank God there's -the boss- Bruce Springsteen in the CD player playing live version of "The River" by now. I get calm for a while...

Bluesmeister, I bet you have the CD (Bruce Springsteen & The E Street band Live ). It's beautifull album :)

James, the only reason it's in D is because I dreamt it in D. I woke up and recorded it. Feel free to change it, I don't mind. If I need to do overdubs, no problem....I can play it in any key. I'm a professional, hahahaha :D

Btw, I still have the 'just got out of bed'-recording. It's quite funny to listen to...

But I'm not sharing it until you come up with something ;)

btw, I'm having serious difficulty typing this since my wife is bouncing her teutonic tits on my head whilst singing Richard Wagner's Der Ritt der Walküren...you know, the timpani part! Why? I have no idea...she's cool! Yep, she does have a sister...and she's available too!
 
I didn't change the key. It's perfect !!! I just have to practise over playing on D position... well lazy me :o

No I don't. I only ever had the Born To Run album on vinyl, but I sold it some years ago. My most recent purchase was Robben Ford & The Blue Line. He's an absolutely stunning guitarist and a good singer too. It's not a recent recording, from 1992 I think...

Recently I compiled a minidisc recording of some of my favourite blues tunes to play along with, but there are no Robben Ford tunes on that, the RF CD is currently out on loan... That reminds me, I must get it back.

So I managed to log-in to NWR last night after D/L-ing Ad-Aware, so Pedullist, where do you want me to post my critique of Verlegen? I'm not sure if PM-ing you in this instance would be appropriate. :)

Tip to our readers, get yourselves a free copy of Ad-Aware. I installed it and was amazed at how many data-miners were on my PC. Those nasty little programs are the scurge of the Internet. :(

I'm intrigued at the cross-equatorial musical collaboration that's happening. When do we get to hear the end results?

Oh, and one more thing, I phoned Bazza last night looking for my money. He told me he hadn't forgotten me! I'm to submit an invoice for the work done so far. Heaven knows when I'll actually get paid... That new PC of mine is still as far away as ever I'm afraid. :rolleyes:

Everything's fine down here, acidrock... things just get easier since they open new music shop in town. I'm told that in very soon, they will sell - recently unavailable- softwares, plugins, and sample CD's... I'm curious as hell. So I don't have to mail my brother anymore to get me some copy of them over US. BTW, you supposed to be at your DAW, trying the new Track View lay out trick... :)

I just hope you can cope with some of my more esoteric chord progressions.

Acidrock, my son moved out of home a month and a half ago :) My daughter's still at home four nights a week :( My cat's still stupid and my wife continues to boss me around. Situation normal :D
