computer confign. amd athlon 512 ram (no more than 1 gig) plus two hard
drives. 7200 rpm. 8mb cache hd's are good idea.
if your heavily - or want to be into midi. ntracks is very strong on the audio side, but for midi - particularly in depth midi editing/notation/printing/lyrics etc i use powertracks from pgmusic.com. also comes with tc helicon vocal harmonisation.
and a bunch of effects plug ins included for 49 bucks so you dont have to
buy effects plug ins. just try the demo sometime.
if you have further q's just ask. imho the two together (ntracks and powertracks) are a winning combo as they both have their own strengths and weaknesses and complement each other nicely.
for example the ntrack eq features are very nice , particularly the graphical features.
