Hey Alan! These look just like your B series

SE Electronics is Shanghai Feilo's house brand. The SP mics are made by 797 in Beijing.

BTW, Beijing used to be called Peking...wonder if the duck's name got changed. :D I haven't looked at a Chinese menu in ages...I make a beeline for the buffet myself... :)

Is the B series your design, like the C series, or are the B series
off the shelf from 797 audio?
I'm interested in the TB-1 as a compliment to my C1's.
Thanx,
Carmen

:)

Well I expected this, and I will expect more copycats down the road. Zou from Fielo spent a good deal of time at my booth the last few shows, and asked me to be his partner. I turned him down, and my guess is this is his way to come to market and try to beat me down. I am flattered he elects to copy my work, and I hope he becomes successful. So far, his SE brand has not made any major gains in this market, but I do wish him well.

The B Series is my work and one of the engineers at 797. Together we did this mic and I am very proud of it. 797 offers a similar looking mic, but only sell it in China. They will not do anything like it for anyone else. The B Series is quite a good product, and I expect it turn quite a few heads in a couple of weeks when they hit the stores. The TB-1 is spectacular. In fact, it is so good, we have to lower the price of the T3. Beggining April 1st, the T3 will be lowered to $799.99 retail, and about $599.99 on the streets. At $299.99 street, the TB-1 is untouchable.

So pardon the hype, all of it is my opinion, but we have been there with me before on this, and I proved to be right, so hopefully, I will be again :D

Alan,
What tube will be in the TB-1?

Jimmy,

Same on as the T3, a 6072 dual Triode. I am very excited about the TB1. The beta tester are freaking out over it, so it should be a sweetheart of a mic.

Down to a couple of weeks, and you all will find out!
