This unit works perfectly and I got it for under $250.00. It also came with a DBX unit and all the snakes. I got lucky that day!

That actually looks usefull.:D

Oh it's very useful! It holds my reading lamp in the living room at just the perfect height! It's also great for putting bowls full of pancake batter on the hubs for fast and easy mixing! :D

Oh and to rub it in more.... It was not $250. It was $220. I did have to drive 15 minutes to get it if that's any consulation!?:D

Nice deal! I was just talking to a freind the other day about how Ebay (and the internet) has virtually ruined the possibility of finding deals like this any more. You used to be able to find stuff (not just audio gear...) all the time for cheap but now, everyone at least looks up the 'going price' befor selling... too much information

Anyway - is it a 1" or 1/2" It looks exactly like half of my Tascam MS16 (1")... is it an MS8? The DBX unit is different but... Great Score!

Kevin.

Thanks!
It's actually the ATR 60-8. It's 1/2" and it sounds incredible! I have two Tascam 38's and and you CAN tell the difference sonically between the ATR and the 38. The ATR is superior! I wouln't claim to hear a huge differnce but I can hear it.

The DBX unit is very old and apparently it's very good. I got another great deal on a 38 a lot ealier this year and it came with essentially the same DBX unit. I posted it here and many people said that it was the best for that time. Not sure what that means in todays terms but at least it's a good unit.

That's great!!!

I just saw a 58 on eBay that sold for $76.... there's no mention of its operating condition but that has to be a good deal....

Good job! That's right up there with my $10 Shure SM-82! My other big score for the year was a set of full size 2-way Fisher bass reflex cabinets with the top of the line SONY Receiver for $20 at a church rummage sale. Praise God!-Richie
