I think its cool looking. Can't wait to get a chassis front end with the RNP and RNC in the same rack mount. Should be the ultimate low end signal chain.
 
Imagin that... RNP and RNC.... side-by-side.
Pictures are low-res, but at least we have an idea.

I wonder if it will change much at the actual production-stage.

Nope, that's how it's gonna look. If you looked at the pictures before midnight (central time), I've taken some better shots that are now there under the same name.
 
The newer pics are much better.

It's kind of like that girl I was with back in college, average looking, but a total animal in bed.
Well theese days I want it all in a woman, but in pre's I just want them to be great when I turn them on.

When are they expected to ship?
 
The part that looks really great to me is the 2-digit readout. Excellent. I've got a newbie-type question, though. What do they mean when they say it will act as a "balancing box" for the RNC?
 
The RNC is unbalanced, but by chucking the RNC into the inserts of the RNP you can use the balanced ins and outs of the RNP.
