I like it Bob. I like the vertically mounted J-Station. How'd you do that? Nice work on that desk, too.

From Gridley!!!???

Thanks, Mike.
Some "quick and dirty" instructions are on the Studio Stuff page of my website right above the photo of the racked up SR-16 and Johnson J-Station.
FYI, I am in Bloomington....

NO SHIT !?!??

Hey! I know where that is! Do you know HERM? He lives in Normal and posts here all the time. We go back a little ways, and he's the nicest guy you'd ever want to meet. He's got all this Tascam/Teac analog stuff to drool over. Wow, small world. So, you in a band? Here's mine as best as I can remember:

Roy Satterfeal/Horizon Band (currently paying some bills)
Marcia K/Bad Boys (good time fun with HERM)
Wildwood (Nashville cowboy wannabes)

And many others.......

Starting a new project right now with Hip Pocket's front man's (Marc Boone) wife Jen. We're supposed to open in December at the Last Lap for somebody important, but I can't remember who...lol....right now.

how do you like the SR16, by the way? I had an oppoortunity to purchase one a few weeks ago but didn't move quick enough. how does it sound?

Jason

Whoops, cart before the horse Bob. I just perused your whole site now. Very impressive resume. I'm an ex-Tuba player myself, if 8 years of Jr and High school band counts. To bad I didn't transfer all of my bass clef knowledge over to my guitar studies. Actually, I was a gutar player at the age of six, so playing notes and scales didn't seem very important at the time. Just another one of those coulda/shoulda/woulda moments we old farts remember. Anyway, was nice to sorta meet you, and you have a great looking studio.

now, go get some absorbers!

SR-16 and Central Illinois

To cowboy jason. I've had this SR-16 for maybe 10-12 years.
It meets my needs.
If you have the capacity to listen to others, I would highly recommend it.

Mike!
I go to church with Marc and have known him for some time.
Send me an e-mail at homestudioguy@verizon.net for my phone # and we can chat. I am "old" and father of 3 and not in a band.
Do you know Jeff Greeneberg?
B

Great place you've got there!

Congratulations on a job well done! Reading your bio makes me want to get out the old Conn t-bone...almost. Well, maybe not. :D

The photos don't show the most important piece of equipment-the understanding wife! :)

Understanding Wife

Thanks!
My understanding wife has a beautiful cherry wood Kawai acoustic piano in the living room!
But she is understanding too!
