...I have been working on. A couple of months ago I was constantly on this site getting ideas and advice. Here is the main area where we play. We still need to bring in the PA and I have to set up my computer system but it's finally usable. I will post more from different angles when the room is more complete.

here goes...

Nice!
Like to see some more pics when you get the chance.

Looking good!!

I would also like to see more pics.

What type of music do you play?
By the looks of the guitar amps and the mustard drapes hanging on the walls like you play The Stokes or Hives type music.

Great Stuff

Thanks

It is great to hear the encouraging remarks.

Musically I am all over the map: Johnny Cash to Sheryl Crow to white striipes. I suppose rootsy is accurate some of the time but then not all the time. I basically play whatever is called for.

As for gear it's just stuff that sounded good to me. The marshall head is the most controversial thing because it's so modern. I mostly use it like a JCM 800. I also have a blues breaker that's not pictured. I still want an AC30 but the right one has never become available.

Currently I still have to get my computer set up in the space. I am having real anxiety about moving it because it's my main machine. I have a laptop that I use at work and in the studio but I am not wanting to make it my main internet and mail device for my home. I need my laptop to be reasonably insulated from the world of spam and viruses. It is rather easy to do with my big machine because it has multiple OS's and HDD's.

Hopefully the by the end of the year I will have gotten everything moved in that I need for recording.

Each time I play in the space I get more used to the fact that I actually have a great space to work in. All my life I have wanted to be able to work and not disturb anyone. Not only that but it feels pretty nice too. I am off to go play right now,

Cheers, RD
