Help with Sonar 4 [Lot's Of STATIC~]

Ok, well everytime i load a track into sonar and play it theres a whole lot of static over the track

I know it's not mi mic or my speakers cause i don't get this problem with other programs..

and when i load a commercial artist's track a whole bunch of static still comes up...

Try increasing your latency setting.

Also, which sound card are you using?

Are you using two? one for recording and one for playback? If so, that can cause static errors, your better off just using one.
