I need to be able to record my band all at once with pretty good quality (hopefully demo quality) and I was wondering if you guys could help me figure out a nice setup with the equipment I have.
Equipment-
1. Traynor 6400 II 6 channel 80watt powered mixer (used for vocals, has a main out and effects loop)
2. BOSS BR532 digital 4track with mic in and guitar in, has compression, can record 2 tracks at a time.
3. I also have a 4 channel crappy radioschak mic mixer
4. 2 SM57s, 1 Beringher dynamic mic (like a 57), a condenser that i use for drums, another dynamic that is used for snare. And all the needed cables and such.
So I'm thinking I can have 2 vocal mics, a mic on the bass amp, a mic on the guitar amp, and 2 mics on the drums, one probably being a condenser. Then I can send that signal to the mic in of the BOSS, and just record it like that.
How does that sound? What else could I do? All help is GREATLY appreciated.
