hello i hope that someone can help me

when i record from my keyboard(triton ex) to vst (5.1) every time i record
the sequencer moves my recorded track back a couple of steps so i have use the key editor to put it all back where its supposed to be as you can imagine this gets quite annoying
any ideas??

is it to do with some sort of auto quantize or my keyboards midi output?

im a bit stuck and have tried what i know which isnt a lot i havent used cubase since my atari st worked

thanks rikovski

Similar problem in Cubase sx using emulated RME card Midi ins.
I don't know how it is organized in VST 5.1 folder but I had to move "ignoreportfilter" file from Midi Port Enabler folder one folder up to main Cubase SX,then reset all ports within Cubase SX and choose HDSP Midi in instead of emulated HDSP Midi in.

rikovski.
just as an alternative if your open minded.
try demo of powertracks from pgmusic.com sometime. 29 bucks for 48 tracks. its superb for midi. try the demo if you think i'm lying or talk to other users on the forum at pg who also use many other sequencers.

There is a function on the arrange window called snap. Make sure it is off.
