I have just graduated/upgraded my home studio with a rather ambitious item; MACKIE 24 channel-8bus mixer.
I need help...
I was previously using an original model Mackie CR1604 mixer and with great ease managed to navigate my way through the blessed mixer and spent years making some great demos-and actual releases-for friends, etc.Not to mention the outboard gear that was attached to it.
Now, with this new acquisition-it was intended that since my projects were getting on the large size and I was needing some expanded features-this board seemed to be the best choice.
Unfortunately, I'm lost. I have read through the factory manual, consulted Peter McIan's book, went over all my notes from a class I took at Fullerton College's recording engineering course--still lost.
Is there a tutorial, an aftermarket manual, video, person that could give me some insight into this incredible mixer?
