please reply if you know please please please,ok i have figured out how the measures work in fruity loops 3 i have the demo only so cant save, but what i cant figure out is how to get it to play back the next measure, it just dont make know sense,i program the first measure and then do the 2 measure and it wont play both only the one it is on, please tell me what i am doing wrong. i know its somthing im overlooking and i have tries the tutorials all they talk about is how to make techno music. any help would be so awesome thank you. tim pate

hit CTRL-L and the playlist editor will popup.....there you can program in what order and how many measures each will play.....

ok

im with you thus far but the playlist editor doesnt have very clear directions on how it works, im not sure where or what you input to make it play back all the tracks please help and thanks for responding to such a newbie question and not making me feel stupid, tim pate

When the playlist editor comes up, youll see numbers across the top and across the left side....across the top is for the measure number, and across the left is for the loop number......go thru for each measure of the song and click in which loop you want to play.......

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

1 X X
2 X X
3 X X
4 X X X

lets say youve made 4 different loops under numbers 1,2,3 and 4......setting up the playlist editor like this will play the first one 2X,the second one 2X, the third one 2X, and the fourth one 3X......

hope this helps....

thanks ive kinda gott it but it think im gonna just continue to use my keyboard drums because they sound alot more real and i cant get any of the sound fonts i dowloaded to go into fruity loops. but i realy do appreciate your help. its just hard to play all the drum parts on the keyboard in time. thought maybe fruity loops would be easier is all. thanks alot. tim pate

it all makes sense

Glad someone asked this - i was scurred to

Thanx

There's also two buttons, I think near the tempo marker or somewhere near, that say "pattern" and "song". Do what Gidge says and then press the "song" button.

It will play the whole song as you programmed.

As for the Soundfonts, you will need the Soundfont player, don't know if it comes with the Demo
