Help with Fostex DMT-8

Hi -
I've been loaned a Fostex DMT-8, with no manual. Two questions:

Are there any basic tutorials for this machine on line?

How can I take a section from one channel and punch it in to another channel?

Use the copy and paste function by placing the part on the "Clipboard" (set a locate point as "Clipboard in" and another as "clip board out" then auto punch in on another track.
