Help Wit Recording To Lap Top

hey everyone i need some help. I have a condenser mic with a behringer mixer. When i hook it up to the laptop and record it only records in the left ear. I have tried on two different laptops. However, when i hook it up to a pc it works perfectly fine. Does anyone have ne advice that they maybe can share wit me?

what program? Most likely, your output section needs to be set up to 2 output instead of 1.
 
Hey yea im using adobe audition 1.5..... U know when you record a vocal and the whole bar is filled up. The top half being the left side and the bottom half being the right side. well the only bar that records is the bottom half
 
you are plugged into the line in? if so, you are either plugged in mono or you need to enable the left and right inputs.
