Help! Which mics work well with Windows Vista?

Have a brand new HP computer with Windows Vista and am experiencing latency issues with my Blue Snowball mic, because it's not compatible with Windows Vista.

Anyone know which mics are compatible with Windows Vista? THanks!!

If you won't/can't use any of the suggested software, go here:http://www.bluemic.com/contact.php
and ask them if they have or will have a driver for Vista.

These's no reason you should have to buy another mic - BLUE needs to support this.

I was going to suggest a Schoeps CMC6/MK4 combo, but I suppose an SM57 would work too.

Crazydoc, thanks for the scoop. I did contact the Blue help line and was told that they would be coming out with updated drivers for Vista either "next week or possibly in January 08". Somehow he didn't sound convincing about it, but I'll give 'em the benefit of the doubt. He also expressed surprise that the blue snowball mic was working at all on my Windows Vista computer. Guess I'll wait and keep an eye on their website for the download. Thanks to all for your replies.

I can't imagine using a mic that required a software driver.

It's pretty cool that it has its own pre/converter though, assuming they're decent.
