HELP! Wave files won't burn to CD

I have mixed down to wave files the projects that I am working on. Attempted to burn them to a CD and got an error saying that the files could are not CD quality. What they heck am I doing wrong! I need to know asap!

Check to see if your recording is 16 bit 44.1 Khz.. you may need to convert it to that
