Well, I have a few takes completed but nothgin finished yet. Still working on the Chorus and change. I know people are waiting on me for their parts so I will try and get this finished up in the next day or 2. Sorry for the delay...

Cool! Looking forward to it.

I really love these collabs, you never know where its going. Its especially fun since I am not the songwriter, Cindy literally handed me a piece of paper at a symphony concert, it has words and a basic melody, thats it. If we did it like it was written it would take about 50 seconds.

Wow, sounds great! It reminds me of Trans-Siberian Orchestra quite a bit. 320kmp3 is perfect, you did an outstanding job on this. Its gonna take the tune a direction I had not thought of, and I like it! This would sound really cool with some real strings, and I will get a much better drum part, more rock and less talk. :D
 
Here it is...Guitar....

It is actually a multi-Mono file, not true stereo, so you can split it, and use both parts however you want, or leave it as one stereo file.

Cool, David, when the lead vox come out I'll record some extra backups. I do my backups in several voices so it sounds like several people (including female :eek: :eek: ) but I'll send you a bunch and you can mess with any of them you like ;)

I at least have something to go to work on now, I might pick a nice clean single note to lay underneath Dogmans chords, add some different textures!!

Is there anywhere in this tune for a guitar solo at all Dave???..If there is I can get cracking on one tonite!
I don't want to go tracking one if there is no room for it!! :D
 
My wife said she would sing if you needed her, just not going to be this week, she has some time next week though. She is an alto. Listen to "held" in my sig link, that will give you an idea of what she can do. (click the link, then click on home, songs are there). Let us know if you need her, so we can book her before she books herself for some other thing.

Sure! She has a very nice voice, and Held is very well done. :cool: It will probably be one person at a time adding stuff to a choir. I dont know where its going to go, I am just going with the flow!

Hmmmm, there is room at the very end for some noodling. Anywhere that the lead vocals have a break, you can do your thang and noodle around. I MAY try to extend it and do the minor section again without lyrics, that would be the ideal part for a solo. In fact, that sounds like a pretty good idea: you can solo over the minore section now, and I will move it to the new minor section. Or something like that, I can get a solo in here somehow! I will work on it and give you some solo section. :cool:
 
Scratch that Idea, it wont work. We will put the solo in before the second chorus. You will be soloing for 8 measures over the Original chords, it will work and make sense I think.

Perfect because that is where I solo'ed before the key change!!

I will cut a rocking distorted solo and a clean tone solo and you can choose Dave!!

This will work. It will be all rock here, I did an uber-quick cut and paste to show you where it goes ( about 2:42). This will all be nice and organized, right now its a mess but you will get it.

P/S this wont effect anyone else. Cincy Kid can stick with what he has, all I do is slide stuff around. Sonar kicks ass for editing.
