Hi,

How do I set Cubase SX3.1.1.944 to use the 'line in' input on the soundcard? (I'm plugging in my Yamaha Mg10/2 mixer into it) I had no problems when I used to use 'Audacity' but after reading the manual it's saying something about drivers, but I've never been asked this before, the soundcard im using is just a consumer level soundcard, it says 'Intel Intergrated Audio'.

It would be really helpful if I was replied to fast as I need to do recording soon.

Thanks in advance,

Chris

Go to the device options and chose the corresponding inputs and outputs from there.

Did u highlight the inputs and outputs that u want?

but they're not there, theres nothing TO highlight/select!

Read the manual again. Its in there. Trust me. You have to select the correct drivers, and then select the correct inputs on the tracks you want to record on.

I've searched the manual in and out but I just told get inputs for VSTs. It says that I have to select various drivers. but they're not there! and It wont help me to just select my soundcard.

Does your sondcard have asio drivers? if it doesn't, it might not be compatable.
