HELP... tascam dp01fx/cd set up

Hello

I just purchased a Tascam dp01fx/cd unit. I am hopeing to get a little advise on setting this thing up. This is my first experience at home recording and any advise would be greatly appreciated. I would like to keep things simple, just the dp01 and a few outboard gear. Any recomendations on the best way to set up would be of great help. I look forward to learning as I go but need a little helpgetting started.

What exactly are you having questions about? The manual is fairly straightforward about what to plug in and where, esp. the diagram on pg. 13.
