Could someone please help me starting up the Lm-4?
I've looked in the help but I can't the get the "Open drum editor" option to get enabled.
Does one have to start a certain type of project to be able to use the drummachine?
I'd be glad if someone would write a step to step guide of how to get a quick start.

Thank you,
Arash

If I remember right, you can't open the drum editor until you actually record a little bit of MIDI. Set up your track, hit record, and hit a drum pad or two. Now stop it and you should be able to open up the drum track and construct your beats from there.

Good luck.

There are different track "classes". You need to make the track you want a "drum" track. There are little Icons for Audio/Midi/Drum next to each track. When you click on them it should give you the option to chose the track class i.e. drum

I have Cubase SX V 1.0.5.58, and I don't see any icons indicating Audio/Midi/Drums next to the tracks.
Do I start a 16-track Midi Sequencer or can I choose the 16-track surround mix? When I add the track, do I add a "MIDI Track"? Do I choose the LM-4 as that tracks input? What do I do after?

I hope you'll excuse all the questions....

All you have to do is make sure that one of the tracks is a Midi track. Then in the inspector (for that track) associate a drum map with that track and you should be good to go.

Sorry but I'm going on memory but I believe you can go to one of the menus and chose "add track" and then when it asks you what kind chose "drum".

Alright, I've managed to get the Drum Editor option available. How do I convert these drum "tabs" to sound?
