Hi,
I plan on purchasing a preamp. I have a mic with a mono phone output jack. The mic will connect to a preamp and then to a video encoder, which has a mono input phone jack on the back. Does anyone recommend an inexpensive (i.e., under $100) preamp for this purpose? I found some inexpensive preamps, but some have two inputs and two outputs (for the left and right channels), so I'm not sure if they would work for my purposes. Thanks.
