Help Please......

I'm a begginer and just last year I bought a program called
frootloops studio 8 XXL and i know how to mess with it....
And Record But My Problem is how do i make my vocal or recordings sound professional????? I Mean For Rap Im A Rapper......

A very vague question...assuming you know what plugins are, start with using a compressor and an EQ on your voice.

I understand your question fam, but there are literally libraries worth of books written about this. It's not as simple as you tihnk it is. You need to cop a few books or go to youtube and watch some tutorial videos about fruityloops. You can do a lot with it, but you may want to invest in some other tools down the line.

Start your training by going to google and searching "vocal recording in fruityloops 8"

try to watch a video and go back and forth between the video and your fruityloops

I hope you also bought a mic when you got that program because if you plan to use the mic on your computer(if it has one) it will not sound professional no matter what. Trust me, I was where you are some years ago and I spent countless hours trying to "master" some bullshyt recorded with the computer mic. Along with the mic get yourself an audio interface. That's about all I will say for now to not confuse you. Google anything you didn't understand.

Like Atillah said, there's tons of books written about this and so many things you have to consider.

1.) Like Atillah also said, your gear is important. Don't use a computer mic and expect it to sound perfect (or even good). Invest some time and money into your gear. Don't know what your using other than the FL Studio but software alone isn't gonna cut it.

2.) You also have to look into how your room is set up. It has to be acoustically sound. If not, you're going to have to treat it. Bunch of different ways to do that, and we here in the forum can help you out, but chances are you're recording in a bedroom or something./

3.) Mixing in itself is an artform. Takes practice and an ear (which also takes time).


I could go on and on about this for days fam, but trust me you'll learn a lot in here.
