When I bought my aardvark Pro Q10, I was deciding between the Q10 and the Motu 828mkll. What sent me towards the Q10 was "One" great review I read and the fact that it had 8 mic pres as opposed to the Motu's 4 mic pres.
I had no warning from our local music store or anywhere's else that Aardvark was going out of business. I was pretty disappointed cause I was gonna buy another Q10 to give me 16 channels of inputs.
Now I have to dish out more bucks to go the other way and then have to buy Mic pres for the 828.
