I currently have a sound blaster platinum and I want to upgrade to a good sound card so i can record from my turntables to the computer.. I will need RCA Ins on the sound card and I want a good studio sound... what is a good sound card to get with these requirements, I was looking at the echo mia cause it was pretty cheap and looked good. what do u guys think, thanx

Well first you don't need rca inputs on your soundcard to hook your turntables up,you need a trip to radio shack.I have gone through many a article lookin up the same thing I would suggest a midiman omni studio about $399 US,it comes with 6 inputs, also 2 pre-amps wich I've heard are pretty good, also records at 24/96khz ! This seems to be the best bang for the buck soundcard on the market.Back to the rca thing,if your are going from your dj mixer to soundcard all you need is a rca to 1/4" adapter from radio shack. If you are looking to go straight to soundcard I don't know how to do that ,hope this helps.
