sorry about the caps, didnt know that was considering yelling. i guess i was just need basic info on a keyboard to select for r&b and rap music. i kinda im wanting it to be geared towards ease of use and was wanting some recommendations between the

1. triton
2. trinity
3. n364
4. xp-80

thanks in advacne

I'd go with either the roland or the triton. I think learning curve is more of a personal thing, and what your used to. But I think these 2 are the best sounding.

you should try the roland Fantom, it has great sounds, I think you should not even think about getting the korg trinity, not that much sounds on it, I had one but i sold it.

I use the Trinity and the N364, I use them for R&B and hip-hop stuff. I like the sound of these 2 boards, and the ease of use was definitely a major factor in my choice. I had the XP-60 once but I took it back after about 2 days... I was NOT feeling it.

hey man, seriously as I said in the other thread Chriss is the man in regards to keyboards here and I KNOW he'll have some ideas fo' ya, TexRoadkill will come around soon too, listen to those dudes (and everybody else for that matter, some knowledgable cats round here).

Like I said I own the Triton and IMO it'll be sufficient for your purposes and I think it has a really easy learning curve. The manual isn't too too fall-asleep stuff and that touch screen really helps you get inside it, lays stuff out for you. Whatever advice you get, it's definitely down to what you want to do, what sounds your lookin for and what your gonna be recording onto. The most important thing is that you do all the reading you can, ask all the questions you need to, especially down at a place like Guitar Center, test those dealers, they will know more than you and hey it's their job. Happy Hunting!
