help needed, black/doom metal

Here's a little instrumental (so far) I am working on.
Something about it doesn't sound right. But my ears are dumb right now.
Any help on improving the sound would greatly appreciated. Fresh ears will help.

i think the hihats on the drums are offly low, and the guitars could go up a smidgen. but other than that awesome sounding!

wow you play music very similar to mine. Cool song. I agree that the hi hats are way too low. Something seems off with the snare sound. But that's a matter of personal taste. What do you use to record guitars with? Was is guitar rig 2? Sorry I can't really help any more than that. I'm really new to this. Keep posting your stuff though. Also, what bands do you listen to? My main influences are Summoning, Burzum, Nortt, Until Death Overtakes Me and Mithotyn. I've recently been getting into this band called Blut aus Nord who are a black metal band from France.
