Help Me Some 1

hello im new to forum and really need help with recording

i baught a mixer an multimix 6 fx Alesis to be exact i have micraphone in mic 1 and i bauch a midi man sound card , i have a phono cable and i want to be able to connect it all up and record to my pc but i dont know how to set it up correctly or wat seting my pc need to be changed to for everything to work properly

can any one help ? i have read the manual and asked a few people but no 1 is of help as yet any help apreciated thanks

1 Do you have any recording software? This is important.

2 By "bauch" do you mean that you bought a soundcard?.....I'm serious.

3 If so, did you install the soundcard?

4 Did you plug your mixer's output into your soundcard's input?

5 Do you have the soundcard's input selected and armed to record in your DAW?

You do not need to turn your PC to a "setting" in order to record. You just need to follow the instructions in the manuals.

Lastly, what about this whole thing is tripping you up? Ask something specific.
