i got the my mic pluged to my alesis multimix 8 and the multimix pluged to my computer so hears the problem i cant hear myself in my headphones when im recording and when i do hear myself everything on the computer gets sent to my main mix, what should i do should i hoook it to a sound card or what hellp meee.

2 TK to CTRL Room

I had that problem. Have you tried pressing the 2 TK to CTRL room button? What kind of mic? Condensers require phanthom power which is a switch on the back.You should only have it on if you have a condenser but if it just a normal dynamic turn it off. You also might have to turn the levels up some. check out my thread and see if you can help me out
