Ok. This is the thing, Ive already recorded the tracks and theres no going back to rerecord, so now im left with all the problems and mistakes and such, so ive got to do it 'fix it in the mix' approach/style etc...
the recording location was arranged such that we set up my gear in a bedroom and used a on suite bathroom to record stuff in. The bathroom was well furnished so there wasnt much ambient noise as such, but the main problem seems to be that of standing waves(I think). On the recorded tracks, the vocals especially) theres seems to be certain frequencies that are exagerated here and there, but its impossible to pin piont them with eq cause they seem to change.
I was thinking maybe multiband compression would help this problem, i would appreciate any advice what settings to use, or any other techniques anyone knows of to combat this problem.
Incidently, i used a Audio Technica 4033, and a behringer mixer recorded into Logic Audio.
Cheers Matt
