Guy's I need some help!!

I'm about to buy 2 pair of monitors. One pair now and on in about a month. Here is what I'm looking at -

Now - Behringer 2031's

Next - Tapco S8's
Tannoy Reveal Actives
M-Audio BX8
KRK-RP8

also concedering going passive

Now - Tannoy Reveals

Next - Yorkvilles YSM1
KRK ST8

I need some advice and suggestions. Also have any of you heard the Tapco S8?

have to ask... (and it might stoke the flames for more responses)

why would you do this? Buy some now, more in a month? Any way you can just save your bread for a month and get one pair then?

What is your room like? How far is your desk from the wall? What do you want to do with them?

Give us more info, and we can better serve :)

I want to have to pair of monitors to A/B with. My room is your typical 10X12 bedroom and the desk is movable.

Thought I'd get the Truth 2031 and the Tannoy Reveals.

Give me you thoughts.

I'll use them to mix Gospel, Choirs, and soft rock

I have the BX8s and love them. I work on mostly punk/hardcore, but have done folk, rock, indie, and some hip hop on them. They hold up well.

I picked up the Yorkvilles YSM1P monitors for pretty cheap. Yes they are powered monitors and they ROCK! Much better then those Event ps().

I would choose a really good set of "studio monitors" and then a cheap set of "cosumer grade" speakers, maybe even something like those outdoor "midrange only" speakers. I actually run my mixes though my tv set as another reference.

I do have a pair of Pioneer bookshelf speakers that I referance with. They help at alot
