hey! i'm very new to analog recording and i'm a little bit confused. i've got a tape that i created on a tascam fourtrack and i'd like to make several copies of it (copies that will be playable on normal cassette players, obviously). what would be the best way to go about making these? how can i retain quality? and exactly what will i need for this "process?"

detailed answers are appreciated! also, this is my first post on this board so... hello :D

Do you have the four track machine that you recorded them on?

Then you need to mix down your 4 tracks to stereo on your Tascam. You know people who still use 'regular' cassette players? I would think burning to CD would be a better option.

how do i "mix it down?" also, i'll probably convert it all to digital once i make a few tapes.
