Has anybody heard of an Akai MG14D rackmount half inch tape recorder ? I heard that it's older pro unit . I need to know about servicing and parts etc.. as I might pick this unit up . whats your opinon.. Thanx .. Gag

You know, that is a really good question, but a really tough one. You probably know more about it than the rest of us, by now.

Sorry dude, I have no idea, but my best suggestion might be to try the Akai website, or surf Ebay for similar Akai decks. Maybe you can find one described in detail, on Ebay. Failing that, maybe if you called Akai, they may have a manual for this deck.
